We are seeking a dedicated HR professional to join our team within the construction and engineering sector. This role is central to bridging the gap between project management and our diverse site-based workforce, ensuring that all human resource operations run smoothly across multiple project locations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the entire employee lifecycle, from initial manpower planning and recruitment to the oversight of complex statutory compliance and contractor management. You will play a critical part in maintaining organizational discipline and fostering a productive environment for both staff and labor.
Roles and Responsibilities
Execute end-to-end recruitment strategies for engineers, technical supervisors, and site labor in alignment with project timelines.
Supervise workforce attendance systems and coordinate with the finance team to ensure accurate monthly payroll processing.
Uphold rigorous adherence to construction-specific labor laws, including BOCW, CLRA, PF, and ESI regulations.
Monitor contractor compliance by auditing wage disbursements, statutory registers, and valid licensing documentation.
Act as a primary point of contact for employee grievances, facilitating conflict resolution and disciplinary actions at the site level.
Generate comprehensive HR MIS reports and maintain digital records to support internal audits and site mobilization activities.
Desired Candidate Profile
Demonstrated experience in human resources specifically within the Construction, EPC, or Engineering industries.
In-depth knowledge of Indian labor laws and statutory compliance requirements for site-based projects.
Proven ability to manage blue-collar workforces and navigate contractor-labor relations effectively.
Strong technical proficiency in MS Excel and HR documentation management.
Exceptional communication skills with the ability to converse fluently in English and Hindi.
