Job Description
We are seeking a meticulous and dedicated Quality Control Engineer to join our production team. In this role, you will be the primary guardian of our product integrity, ensuring that every component meets our rigorous standards from the moment raw materials arrive until the final product is dispatched. You will play a pivotal part in maintaining our reputation for excellence through diligent inspection, precise testing, and comprehensive documentation.
As a core member of our quality assurance division, you will bridge the gap between production and dispatch, ensuring that all regulatory and internal benchmarks are strictly followed. Your expertise in technical testing and your keen eye for detail will be essential in driving our commitment to delivering high-quality mechanical solutions to our clients.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive inspections of all incoming raw materials to verify quality and specifications.
- Monitor and enforce strict adherence to company quality protocols and industry regulatory standards.
- Execute and supervise hydro-testing procedures, ensuring all jobs meet specified pressure and durability criteria.
- Maintain exhaustive photographic documentation of assembly, cleaning, and loading processes for audit readiness.
- Manage and update quality control records and inspection logs with high accuracy.
- Compile and present detailed quality performance reports to senior management.
- Oversee the calibration, maintenance, and operational integrity of all testing and hydro-testing machinery.
- Liaise with shop-floor personnel to monitor the status of materials scheduled for dispatch.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Possess a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, or a closely related technical field.
- Demonstrate a proven ability to lead teams and manage quality workflows effectively.
- Exhibit strong verbal and written communication skills for reporting and inter-departmental coordination.
- Maintain an exceptional eye for detail and a commitment to precision in technical documentation.
- Familiarity with hydro-testing equipment and industrial quality standards.
