Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Panel Saw Operator to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for the setup and operation of both manual and CNC machinery to execute precise cuts on various industrial materials. The ideal candidate will possess the technical expertise to translate complex blueprints into high-quality finished products while focusing on material efficiency and precision. As a key member of our production unit, you will ensure that all cut components meet strict quality standards. You will work closely with the production schedule to manage cutting lists and optimize workflows, maintaining a safe and productive environment throughout 12-hour shifts.

Roles and Responsibilities

Configure and operate manual or CNC panel saws to cut materials according to specific dimensions and tolerances.
Accurately interpret cutting lists, blueprints, and technical work orders to determine material requirements.
Monitor equipment performance and perform necessary adjustments to ensure consistent cutting quality.
Implement material optimization techniques to minimize waste and maximize yield.
Conduct routine machine maintenance and safety checks to ensure operational reliability.

Desired Candidate Profile

Must possess an ITI Fitter certification or equivalent technical qualification.
2 to 5 years of professional experience in panel saw operation within a manufacturing setting.
Demonstrated ability to read and interpret complex technical drawings and blueprints.
Ability to work 12-hour shifts and maintain focus in a high-volume production environment.
Strong understanding of measurement tools and precision cutting techniques.
