We are seeking a meticulous and experienced finance professional to oversee our comprehensive accounting operations within the plastic manufacturing sector. This role is designed for a proactive individual capable of managing end-to-end financial workflows, ensuring absolute accuracy in ledger maintenance, and maintaining rigorous compliance with current tax laws. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in our financial health by bridging the gap between daily transactions and high-level statutory reporting.
As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for the integrity of our financial statements and the efficiency of our tax filing processes. We are looking for a dedicated professional who thrives in an industrial environment and possesses the technical expertise to handle complex reconciliations and audit preparations with minimal supervision.
Roles and Responsibilities
Manage end-to-end accounting cycles, including voucher entry, ledger scrutiny, and the maintenance of accurate books of accounts.
Oversee monthly GST compliance, including the filing of GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B, and performing detailed GSTR-2B reconciliations.
Ensure the timely payment of GST liabilities and the strategic utilization of Input Tax Credits (ITC).
Handle comprehensive TDS workflows, including deduction, timely payment, and the filing of quarterly TDS returns.
Facilitate the preparation and finalization of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Direct bank reconciliation processes (BRS) and manage daily cash and bank operations.
Coordinate seamlessly with external auditors for statutory, tax, and GST audit requirements.
Monitor accounts payable and receivable, conducting regular aging analysis and proactive follow-ups to maintain cash flow.
Uphold strict adherence to the Companies Act, Income Tax, and GST regulations.
Support year-end closing activities, balance sheet finalization, and the resolution of audit queries.
Utilize Tally and other ERP systems to maintain high-quality digital documentation and reporting.
Desired Candidate Profile
Minimum of 4 to 5 years of core experience in accounting, preferably within the manufacturing or plastic industry.
Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com) or a related field.
Advanced proficiency in Tally ERP and standard accounting software.
Expertise in Indian taxation, specifically GST and TDS filing procedures.
Proven ability to manage statutory audits and financial statement finalization.
Strong analytical skills with an exceptional eye for detail.
Excellent communication and coordination skills for cross-departmental liaison.
